Birthday Party

We had Aizy's party today.  The theme was... well I couldn't decide on an official theme so I just went with pink and orange.  My grandma made her a dang cute tutu.  She actually made 2 so I hung one on a wreath hook on the front door :)  

There are fairy wings on the backs of the chairs, not bunny ears :)

We frosted cakes with fondant at mutual Wednesday night so I made a cake for Aizy!

Since Aizy got the walker/bike she has been taking off! She walks about 10 steps at a time if she feels like it :) I have funny videos to post but my app doesn't let me; I'll have to on my computer.
This past weekend, Kami and Brittany came to Twin and we had a bit of a roommate reunion because Lindsey lives here too. Paul was kind enough to take us boating. Since Linds is prego, she didn't tube but the other 3 of us did. The water was 59' and it was only about 70 out! But it was sunny and fun. Kami and I wake boarded, both having not done it for like 3 years! Then we went swimming at the grandparents'. We had a nice day with getting our nails done, dinner, and a Redbox. Thanks to Paul for watching Aizy :)
Today we went On a walk, like we do most Sundays, through what will be out neighborhood. I snapped a pic of Aizy right as she got grumpy haha. Afterwords, I gave her a pony! One pony at the back of her head. Haha she has another layer of short hair under her mullet. So funny.

Game Day

 Paul and I got sick Wednesday and Thursday after Aizy had been sick Sunday night and Monday! Mary Ann took Aizy for a little while because we could only do so much with her while we didn't feel well. Annie snapped this picture while she was up there with them.

On Friday, I felt better and wanted to get out of the house for the first time that week! I was going on a walk with Jatauna in the morning and I asked Paul to put the pink jacket on Aizy before we left.  Notice it isn't a jacket! But it is pink :) 

We went to Boise last weekend for the first home game.  Aizy wore her cheerleading outfit for the first time. Grandma and Grandpa bought her the little car/walker for her birthday but it was out and too big to wrap so she gets to play with it early haha.  She is much braver with taking steps now that she's used that.

First Sickness

Last night at about 2 am, Aizy woke up crying.  She has been doing that alot recently so I waited to see if she would just go back to sleep.  And then I heard it.  I knew she had thrown up so I hurried in there and pulled her out.  Oh man it smelled nasty in her room.  Poor baby had thrown up while sitting up so it was on her legs and hands.  I got Paul up and he took care of her bedding while I took care of her.  She's over 11 months and she's never had more than a runny nose, so we've been lucky.  Last night she threw up her dinner and then some water that I'd given her but that was it.  She slept until after 10 this morning and has been fine since then.  She wanted to cuddle more today than ever but she is happy :) I'm glad she's doing better! Hopefully it stays away.

She was cuddling and put her head on my leg.  She doesn't cuddle so I know she wasn't feeling well!

Sam had a birthday party here Saturday with a bounce house and kiddie pool.

  

This was her outfit Sunday.  Brittney bought it for her before she was born.  It's so cute! I even gave her a side pony tail.

 Boy oh boy does she love ice cream! Grandpa Stanger shares with her and apparently so does Daddy.  

 Saturday we had our ward party.  I loved her outfit so I had to take a picture :)

Updates

Aizy update-Today I broke out and washed Aizy's 9 month clothes.  Not because she needs them but because I'm growing tired of some of her 6 months clothes. Aizy is 11 months and still fits 6 mo clothes!! Not her pj's, she's too long for them, but her onesies and shorts fit nicely still.  It's kind of nice because her 12 month clothes are packed away buried somewhere, but at this rate, she'll still be in 9 mo when we move into a house!
Some of Aizy's "tricks" are clapping, raspberries (or zrbts in my family, thanks to The Cosby Show), making an "indian" sound (not politically correct, not sure what else to call it!) and yesterday she tried to mimick Paul as he spit haha. Oh and screaming.  Does that count as a trick? She's very good at it.  Especially when someone has the nerve to go outside without her. She says kitty, pretty, up, mama, daddy and papa. Pretty and kitty are hard to tell what she's saying but she says kitty when she sees the cats and pretty when Grandma MaryAnn picks her up because she likes her necklaces.

Sleeping- well, she was doing really well until Monday night. She must be teething; she had a fever Monday night and Tuesday but has been seriously grumpy. She wants me to hold her all the time and she is just not my same child! Point being, she hasn't slept well but prior to Monday she was sleeping perfectly. She'd wake up to eat between 6 and 7 and go back to sleep until 9 or later. The last few nights I've been up for a couple of hours with her because she's so miserable. Poor girl! I'm pretty sure she's getting her lower right tooth which is kind of funny because she still doesn't have her top teeth.

This video is from last night. Melissa watched Aizy while Paul and I did sealings at the temple. She sure loves kids! And her kids are a good age for her to be around. So cute!

House update- I wish I had one! We have the plans finished and are waiting for the bank. Then we have to get permits (which I'm assuming is more waiting) and THEN we can break ground. I sure hope that happens this month. Once we start, the bank give us 9 months to finish. If we don't finish in 9 months, I'm not sure what the bank does but I know I will cry! That would be July and Jared comes home the next month and Annie will get married and live in the basement so we have to get out! Plus I miss my dishwasher.

Idaho Falls weekend

This past weekend, Sadie Grover got married.  We know her family from Kansas and there were lots of people there we knew.  It was like a little reunion! We were able to meet up with Kayla (my college roommate) but I failed to get pictures :(

Pictures

I kind of use pictures as a journal. I don't always remember what Aizy loves to chew on (my unused earphones) or how she crawls on concrete (bum up!) but with pictures I do! Chris and Hyrum took Aizy and Paul for a ride in the carrier on Hyrum's tandem bike.
The picture that looks like Aizy has a booger is just a piece of graham cracker :) and when she's in a tutu but no clothes, that was at stake conference last weekend. She had an explosion (I dont even know the last time that happened!) I haven't carried an extra outfit for a while now but I started again. She just got it in her onesie so I put the tutu back on and that's how she was for the second hour at church. We live like 8 miles away so we couldn't run get something new! Oh man. People probably thought I was crazy with a naked kid!
We went to the fair yesterday with Lindsey and met Paul there. Paul wanted her to see all the animals so we saw the horses, alpacas, turkeys, and the petting zoo. I didn't let her touch anything but Paul did. Ew! But she seemed entertained by them.
