Sweet little Aizy moments

Aizy is at a fun age. Yes, she can be naughty, but I have a lot of fun with her. Now that it's always warm outside, we've been outside a lot, especially with cousins. But the other day it was just the 2 of us. She wanted to swing so I put her on one. Then she pointed to the other swing and said, "mama!" Haha so cute she wanted to swing next to me :)

San Francisco

Aizy and I went to Boise on May 30 so I could go the Kenny Chesney concert with my mom.  Summer and Dad watched Aizy and we had a great time! Our seats weren't as good as for Brad Paisley, but it was a good concert. 

Saturday morning, we flew from Boise to Oakland. Aizy did a pretty good job on the plane! Thanks to a portable, charged DVD player and some Barney DVDs :) It was kind of an early flight so she was pretty wiggly but not too bad!

We stayed with Brittney & Steele in their apartment.  Aizy found the air pump for the blow up air mattress and was walking around saying "Cheese!" haha she thought it was a camera! And she sure liked taking pictures with it. 

Brittney & Steele have an 8 month old dog named Goldie. She was so good with Aizy and Aizy loved her.  She called her "Gold gold" and liked to give her treats.  Scroll down to see what else she liked to do...

Since we flew, there wasn't a car that legally fit all 6 of us.  Luckily, Brittney's backseat was roomy enough that with the passenger seat scooted forward, someone could sit on the floor! Not safe but it was how we did most of our traveling. 

On Sunday we did some sightseeing around San Fransicso

Then we went to Muir Forrest and saw some beautiful redwoods! I really think it was the most beautiful, non-tropical place I've ever been.

Of course we did some shopping! Aizy thought this was a "guck guck" (quack quack)

We went to the Winchester Mystery house. This is a to-scale replica made out of gingerbread! It was huge.

The Winchester Mystery house has 160 rooms and the last addition/remodel was done in 1922.  It was a neat place but I would have liked to see more of it furnished and redone as if she were still living there.

We went to the Oakland Zoo on Wednesday.  Aizy really liked it! She was at a good age because she cared about the animals and knew what some of them were.  She also really wanted to play at the areas made for kids to climb.  

When we were at the elephants, Mom said, "Aizy, what's the elephant doing?" Her response was, "I dunno!" Clear as day! So cute!

We went back to San Fran on Thursday and went to Alcatraz.  I didn't take pictures because my phone camera is just terrible.  I will have to get those from Mom.  After Alcatraz, we went to Ghirardelli Square and had some yummy Sundays! Then we did more sightseeing while Aizy and Brittney slept in the car (Brittney was on the floor..)

Grandma and Grandpa Jones drove up from Hemet to see us.  They were headed to Truckee and then on to Meridian.  Grandma made lots of bows for Aizy and Aizy wanted to put them all on!

Friday we went to a beach in Alameda.  It was a beach on the bay so the waves were nice and little and it was pretty shallow.  It wasn't as cold as I thought it would be! Aizy ate a little sand (not as much as last year) and really liked digging in it. 

Aizy loooved walking Goldie! This only happened once but BOY! She threw a fit when I took the leash from her.  Such a good dog haha

The last day there we went to a pool at Brittney's apartment complex.  I'll have to get those pictures from Mom too.

Headed home! Summer got a See's sucker and since she didn't want to share with Aizy (by that I mean give it to her) we got her one.  So messy! I took it away about 1/2 through the sucker, before the plane even took off! But her white shirt is still white!
