A little sunshine

Easter egg dyeing! Nothing fancy but this is the first year we've done it. And when I say that, I mean Aizy did it. Paul was in a hurry to get our lawn planted so we didn't have much time. 

We have kitties. Have I said that before? We got them last week Monday. They don't have a mom and I don't know how old they are. My guess is now they are 5 weeks old. I have to bottle feed them {less than awesome}. I don't feed them during the night because I am just not that nice. Aizy likes them as long as they don't try to climb her. And for some reason she prefers the orange one. 

Today is in the 50s with terrible wind and rain. But we had some nice weather over the weekend!

For the Easter celebrations, the adults had their party and egg hunt down at the Anderson's on Friday. The kids party and egg hunt was Saturday. 

Paul was at home working like crazy to get the grass seed planted and he did! Yay!! He likes to watch our sprinklers water the dirt, which in a month and a half, will be the best grass in the neighborhood he says. 

Easter Sunday I did Aizys hair all kinds of fancy. And literally as we walked out the door, her hair fell apart. So sad. So I redid it at the church but it wasn't the same hair-do. We had Easter dinner at the Anderson's. 

Yesterday was the last nice day of the week. Aizy and I went to a park in Hansen before her nap. After her nap, we went to Maryann's house to play in their yard and ended up staying for dinner. 

Baby update

I had my 16 week appt today. Paul and Aizy came with me. This was the first appt Paul was able to come with me to! (First time, he was home with a sick Aizy. Second time, he was in Vegas.) We heard the heartbeat; in the 140s. Paul has said "100% certain it's a boy." So the heartbeat goes along with it being a boy. Also, the Chinese gender calendar says it's a boy. Who knows! But we will find out May 7. 

I have gained 8 lbs in 16 weeks, which I'm pretty sure is better than with Aizy. Hopefully I can keep it up and not gain as much as last time! 

This was last week (15 weeks) haha the one picture is in the morning and the other is in the afternoon. Not even after a big meal! Haha 

This was at 13 weeks. I got big fast and was depressed but now it's slowing down. Whew!

We don't have any sidewalk chalk so I made some sidewalk paint. Aizy always asks us to draw mommy, daddy, and Aizy. So I did. With a baby carrier. 

Pretty hair!!

She got blocks and loves for us to build towers and she knocks them down. This was the biggest one daddy has built; she tends to knock them down before the get too big.
