Nice weather again

Hopefully this time it stays! Aizy and I plan on walking everyday that its nice! (Well she rides and I jog.) because our new house is so close, we like to go past it and snap a photo. The insulation inspection is tonight and Sheetrock will start Monday. The siding is 99% done and the stone/stucco is probably 85% done. This makes the outside look nice and finished!
I still can't believe that we sold out last house on Craigslist! It's kind of amazing that we sold it at all! That family was just perfect for that setup.

Hi mom

I was making dinner last night and I was cooking steaks that needed my undivided attention for about 8 minutes. Aizy was coming in and out of the kitchen. When I was done, I went to check on her. This is what I found. And she just said," "hi mom" and went for more!

Venting- the house kind

I sometimes think that the new house will be an answer to all of my problems! Space (obviously), my desire to craft and bake to my hearts content! And time. I do not know how the house will allow me to have more time but I think, "in the house I will have time to do ________." Maybe it's more of a space thing. I don't have new pictures cuz everything that's taking place isn't fun to look at. Plumbing, electrical, and hvac- all very important but don't make for fun pictures. I just need to do it anyways. We did get our garage floors poured Friday! They will pour the driveway and back porch and front steps down the road. We have our front door but it needs to be stained so it's currently quite ugly. The patio door is the wrong one, hopefully they switch it out soon!

Sunshine

This week has felt like spring! We have been outside for a bit everyday. Today we had to run some errands as planned to meet at rethas for a trip to a park. We got some carpet samples and went to buy the siding. At the siding place, I unlocked my car, keys and Aizy in hand. She was playing with my keys.. I started my car and shut my door to go out her in her seat. BEEP! MY car was locked! Ugh. It's on and my phones inside. Luckily Aizy wasn't inside. She must hVe locked it while the doors were open and I started the car without realizing what had happened. So we called a locksmith and he had a hard time cuz of the tinted windows. He couldn't see where the lock was- it took like 20 minutes. $25 later we went to pick out some remnants for the bathroom counters and on to the park. Such a nice day!
For future reference, closed toe shoes and no white! Yes these seem obvious but I failed. Aizy likes the slides and likes Togo up and down. She was walking on a cement curb and fell and hit her face :-( could have been soo bad but her lip was a little swollen and didnt even bleed.
House update- electrician should be done today. Siding starts Monday. Insulation should be soon.

Lots of trips

Aizy and I have been on a couple of trips recently. We went with my mom down to Utah to visit some people we knew in Hawaii. This was the first time I tested aizys leash. Yes I bought her a leash. She wants to be down and walking now but se wanders off! So this was the best solution. Unfortunately, if I stop and she doesn't want to, she now throws fits. She full on throws herself down and rolls around on the floor wherever we are. Not cool Aizy, not cool.
Then this past weekend we went to Rexburg for a roommate reunion. Annie rode with us to visit some of her friends. Kami, Lindsey, Brittany, and I stayed at Lindsey's parents house. We did our nails and watched Pitch Perfect. We crafted too! But I'm not completely done with mine yet. We met up with Jennie and Kaylee for dinner.
Update on the house- the stucco guy did the wrong color. It wasn't entirely his fault; I pointed to the house we had been talking about and he thought I pointed to the one next to it. Oops. Well it was a sick orange. He fixed it and it looks waay better now especially with the stone. In the inside, hvac and plumbing are done. The electrician has pushed is back 3 times now and is supposed to be done this week. We shall see!
