Where does time go? And what have I done with mine?! Haha take care of my little Aizy! She is such a good baby who only cries when she's hungry. She lets us set her down and likes to be in her car seat, especially in the car looking out the window. We've gone to Boise and Zion National Park and didn't have to pull over for her ever! We're spoiled (hopefully she stays this way- knock on wood!)
She is her father's child for sure- long and skinny! At her 10 day appointment she had lost 3 ounces, which they say is normal. I'm not sure how much she weighs now but she still fits into newborn diapers but her newborn footed pajamas are too short for her. I assume she grows like her dad, up and never out. Lucky little girl haha.
She sleeps pretty well and has for a few weeks now. She doesn't really have a bedtime but once she's out for the night she goes 5 hours then 4 hours between eating. Yay for that! I never had to the every 2 hour thing or I might have died!
We blessed her on October 30 and Paul did a beautiful job; he even thought about getting emotional during it ;) we're lucky to have family so close by; she had a large circle! She didn't cry or toot, which Paul was afraid she might do.
She's a happy baby who is usually content with just hanging out in the boppy while I get ready or accomplish things.
Last week she discovered her tongue and licks her pacifier sometimes instead of sucking on it. If you're not careful she might lick you! She holds her head up very well now and likes to look at the lights. Also, last week she started smiling more, even if it's just at angels :) I even got a video if her giggling at something!
Paul probably notices more changes than I do because he's gone all day. My favorite thing was I was laying her down, about to change her diaper and Paul saw her and said (almost yelled) "oh! She's just so tiny little!!" haha it was really cute. He usually calls her Tiny Little. She is a big fan of him singing and he's made up some great verses to some lullabies.
Another thing she's a great fan of is 'the magic carpet,' known to others as a changing pad. The 2 we have are both sky blue and for some odd reason they calm her down. At first she didn't like to be changed but now just laying her on the pad makes her happy most of the time! Funny little baby!
