Winter

Paul's new job plus the snow and cold weather, have allowed Paul to be inside and spend a little more time with him. While I went to cookie day this year, he took Aizy and ran some errands. They came home with this:
Paul said he always wanted a huge animal so he got one for her. She loves it :) she named it Hallie, after her babysitter. (Hallie bear-y haha)
We went to the Rock Creek store to see the lights that used to be in the South Hills. Aizy was excited to feed the camel. She wasn't apprehensive at all!
I bought a gingerbread man kit at Walmart and we decorated them as a family this week. Aizy did a pretty good job of spreading that frosting all over. And on her hair.
We took Aizy to a movie yesterday (frozen). We had heard it was really cute and since it was done kind of like a musical, we thought all the singing would keep her entertained.  It was a super cute show and I loved the music. It was almost 2 hours and she had to go potty twice and be taken out twice. And then there was a trip to the front of the theater on her own. Luckily we were in the back so we weren't too distracting. We will try a movie again... In a year.  Then we went to Dairy Queen.
She kind of is grimacing in this picture but she was really happy and is saying cheese.

Some more pictures

can't believe it's the end of November! Today we ate our thanksgiving feast down at the Andersons. It was our first Thanksgiving here, cuz we usually go to my family's. Paul played in the Turkey Bowl this morning. I didn't go an support. I don't like to be cold 😁 but it actually was very mild and beautiful today!!

I will order our blog in a book soon so I need to add some more pictures to November.

Potty training

After our trip to Zion, I was ready to potty train Aizy. I really wasn't sure how ready she was; she showed some of the signs but not all. I started the Tuesday after we got back. I had read a few blogs and kind of put tips together to come up with what I thought would work best for her.
One blog said to use a baby doll to show her where to go when it's time. So I put panties on her baby doll and left panties off of Aizy. I used a medicine syringe thing to make it sound and look like the baby went potty in the little baby potty I had for Aizy. Then the baby had an accident and we said "oh no baby! Go on the potty, not the floor!" This happened a few times. Aizy had a few accidents that morning but did pretty well. This whole time we are on the tile so it's easy to clean. We didn't watch tv at all that day so we did lots of fun things to stay busy.
During her nap I put a diaper on her to be safe {all the blogs say not to. I was by about to have her wet the bed.} after her nap I put panties on her. We had more accidents in the underwear than without them. For the next few days she was underwear free at home most of the time and had no accidents!
She has had a few accidents this week. 2 at home and 1 at the church during my meeting. That time she said "hurry mommy!" But by the time we got to the toilet it was too late.
She has a hard time going #2 in the toilet. She did great the first few days. Then she started waiting until almost bedtime and after lots and lots of tooting haha. Then she would tell me {yell} and we wouldn't quite make it. It's disgusting. She yells still but It's almost always too late. At least she's figured out it's not ok to just do in panties. Hopefully she figured it out quickly! I am glad she will be potty trained before our cruise though or she couldn't swim on the ship!

Zion National Park

This year was another Morgan family
reunion, so we headed down to Zion National Park on the 30th. We stayed at Dan and Megan's in Bluffdale on our way down.
The weather was a lot better this year than last time we went.
We got there early afternoon on the 31st. There was trick or treating that night in the hotel, since the family rents it all out.
The next day, we went on a nice walk along the Virgin River in the Park. Because we were a little earlier than normal, the park was only open for driving through, not parking, which meant you had to use a shuttle. So we didn't do our usual walk up to the Narrows.
That afternoon Paul went golfing with Chris and Ryan. The weather was nice so we hung out outside all day. I even got a bit of a sunburn! That night we ate at the pizza place where we always go.
Saturday was the carnival and the auction for the reunion. That night the guys had the kids and the girl went to St. George for some shopping.
But the biggest thing of all!!! was Saturday morning I got my birthday present: a helicopter ride!! Paul had said he did get me somethis and we were meeting a guy Saturday to pick it up. So we all went that morning into Hurricane. We were just driving along and I saw a helioxopter land! And we turned there. I was still not entirely sure that's what my gift was haha but it was! Aizy was free cuz she weighs less than 30 lbs so we all got to go! It was a short 25 minute ride but it was so pretty! I didn't want it to end. He sure got me a great gift and surprise!

Halloween

For the ward Halloween party, we were a family from the 50s. It was also a trunk or treat so I decorated the trunk to look like a 50s diner.
On Halloween, we were going to be in Utah for the family reunion so this was possibly aizys only Halloween experience this year.
The weekend before Halloween we went to Utah with my family for the BSU vs BYU game. I went while Summer and Aizy hung out in the hotel room.
Then we went to Ikea and Scheels for the first time. Aizy was too short for the Ferris wheel, which was a let down for everyone!

Pumpkin patch

Last Friday, Aizy and I met Paul at a pumpkin patch. It was lots of fun! Since we had to wait until Paul was off of work, it was a little colder than I would have preferred, but it was still fun. There was a petting zoo, a play area, the pumpkin patch, corn cob cannons, and a tractor pulled hay ride.

Birthday Parties

Boise with Brittney, Steele, Grandma and Grandpa Williams, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Williams, and Summer. We opened presents and had cake.  But she really just wanted to play with (and in) her new toys!

Here in Kimberly with Grandma and Grandpa Stanger, Great- grandma and great-grandpa Anderson, Wayde, Melissa, Dalton, Emma, Christian, Becca, Greg, Abi, Mollie, Tanner, Retha, Ryan, Sam & Vaughn. We had dinner and cake, opened presents, and then painted pumpkins! Aizy'd never finger painted before.  She loved it! For a few minutes, she went full out. And then... she was done.

Birthday girl!

Aizy turned 2 yesterday! Time sure flies. We love her so much. She's such a happy girl and usually pretty good at listening. She's sweet most of the time! Although she has gotten a nasty habit of saying "Mine" a lot, even at times when it doesn't make sense. She has become more generous with hugs and kisses. She is talking a ton! She still speaks part some other language but I'm getting better at understanding her. She sleeps about 11 hours at night and a 2 hour nap during the day is normal. She's been binki free for about 6 weeks now. She sleeps in a big girl bed! The next step is potty training..

We went to Boise for the weekend. Brittney and Steele were there from California so we had a little birthday party for Aizy. All those pictures are on my camera so I will get those on here later.

Boise for Broncos!

Now that football season is in full swing, we will be going to Boise for all of the home games. This last time we went, Grandma and Grandpa Jones were there too.

Family pictures

We got pictures taken last year in May for a ward fundraiser. They were really cute but we didn't have many. And it was time again! Amanda used this photographer and so does our friend Sarah so I knew she was good!
