The Fourth of July is a big deal in the Stanger family. There's a camp out the night before with BBQ and s'mores. In the morning there's breakfast over the fire. The past few years, since they got the boat, the day is spent boating. It was excellent weather for it and the river wasn't as crowded as we thought it would be. Paul got up early to wakeboard with his friends. Aizy and I spent like 4 hours on the boat. She likes it and brings me her life jacket sometimes and says, "boating."
That night we have a potluck dinner at the Norris's and fireworks. We had $900 worth this year! I was a little worried Aizy wouldn't like the fireworks but she did. She started clapping after each one :)
